The car reader is suitable for all compliant cars from model year 1996 (+ newer) and supports all OBDII protocols. The car diagnostic device switches off the check engine light, clears error messages and resets the monitors. The car code reader can read freeze frame data such as vehicle speed, air flow, injection trim & engine coolant temperature, emission-related faults, etc.
NOTE: The vehicle ignition must be switched on before a diagnosis can be started. NOT suitable for hybrid and electric vehicles.
