Styrofoam is an ideal base material for various crafts. It can be processed in many ways, such as painting, gluing, napkin and sequin techniques, or used as a base for mosaic artworks. Styrofoam is also a perfect carrier for textured pastes. When painting and spraying, it is advisable to apply a primer first, depending on the chosen paint, as the paint will otherwise eat into the styrofoam. When gluing with hot glue, a low-temperature glue gun should also be chosen.
