Painting sponges are an essential tool for creative design with paint. The round sponges are soft, absorbent, and comfortable to hold. The painting sponges are simply dipped in paint. You can then paint large areas with the paint. When priming the painting surface with painting sponges, you avoid the typical streaky texture of brushes. A painting sponge is always very helpful for a wiped look or for subtle dabbing of paint. You can work with both a damp and a dry sponge. Before painting with the sponge, it is recommended to briefly test the look on a piece of paper.
