Creatives love compact DIY projects. They design their own magnetic boards – whether square, round or in the shape of a motif. They then paint the surface in their favourite colour and pin postcards, photos and notes at home and at work. With the magnetic primer, decorative objects with smooth surfaces such as furniture, doors, worktops or boards are transformed into magnetic boards. The advantage? No drilling, screwing or tacking. After drying, the primed surface can be painted over with KREUL acrylic paints and varnished over with KREUL blackboard varnish without affecting the magnetic effect. Real upcycling professionals opt for the dual benefit: the memo board holds magnets and can be written on with the KREUL Chalky chalk marker thanks to the blackboard varnish. • Black acrylic primer for creating adhesive surfaces for magnets • Creamy-pasty, opaque, lightfast • Water-based • Dries matte • Contains rust-free iron powder • Magnetic force depends on the layer thickness • Low odour • For priming wood, cardboard, styrofoam, stone, thoroughly dried concrete and MDF; washable from smooth surfaces such as ceramic, glass, tiles, metal, acrylic and plastic • Easy to spread, therefore easy to apply with brush, paint roller and spatula • Do not dilute - For optimal effect, apply at least 3 coats • After thorough drying (24 hours), can be painted over with KREUL acrylic paints and varnished over with KREUL blackboard varnish • 250 ml can corresponds to a coverage of 0.5 m² Application: • Shake or stir well before use. • Surface must be grease-free, dust-free and dry. • For highly absorbent surfaces, priming with KREUL acrylic paints is recommended. • Do not dilute - For an optimal magnetic effect, apply at least 3 coats of magnetic primer crosswise with a brush; when applying with a paint roller, at least 5 coats are recommended. • Drying time per coat approx. 2 hours. The drying time can be shortened by blow-drying. • Clean brushes and paint rollers immediately after use with water.
