The hot glue gun is the perfect adhesive tool for all crafts and can be used in a variety of ways. The glue sticks are inserted into the designated opening. The heat from the glue gun melts the glue stick, which can then be perfectly dispensed using the dosing button on the gun.
Not suitable for heat-sensitive materials such as polystyrene or PVC, as these will melt on contact with the hot-melt adhesive. The glue gun is suitable for glue sticks with a diameter of 7 mm. The hot-melt adhesives are also available in various colours with glitter.
The threads that sometimes form during the melting process can be cut off with scissors.
Instructions:
1. Thread the metal holder, plug in the glue gun, and place it on a cardboard or wooden surface.
2. Insert the stick into the gun and let it warm up for approx. 5 minutes.
3. Press the trigger until the hot glue flows out.
4. Apply the hot glue to one side (no need to spread it). Press the surfaces together for 15 seconds.
5. Unplug immediately after use.
Caution:
Hot melt adhesive gets very hot. The nozzle reaches up to 190°C. If you come into contact with the hot-melt adhesive, do not try to remove it. Immediately hold your hand under cold water!
If a glue stick is already in the gun, it should not be pulled out, as this will damage the feeding mechanism.
To prevent the hot-melt adhesive from sticking during the waiting period, the hot glue gun must be placed on its designated holder.
