The colorful chenille craft wire can be easily bent into shape, even by children's hands, to create animals (e.g., spiders for Halloween), flowers, figures, etc. The small hairs give the craft wire its hairy appearance, like a caterpillar, hence the name from the French word "chenille" which means caterpillar. The pompoms can be combined with googly eyes to create funny monsters and figures, or they can be threaded onto a string with a needle. The round pompom balls can also be glued as decoration onto a gift wrapped in packaging paper. Decorations such as wreaths, embellishments for picture frames, etc., can also be made with the colorful soft balls.
