The heat from the iron melts the plastic beads together, and the created designs become clearly visible. The finished objects can be used for various projects such as: insect repellent covers for drinking glasses, glass coasters, key and jewellery pendants, game figures, gift tags, pictures for photo frames, etc. As children's jewellery, they can be strung onto a thread like beads to make colourful bracelets and necklaces. Another option would be to pour the loose beads into a cookie cutter and then melt them in the oven on a baking tray with baking paper. Once melted, the plastic beads take on the shape of the cookie cutter and can be tied with a ribbon as a gift tag to packages or a branch.
